It works by combining your AutoRouter account with the new Telegram Messenger app. Here’s how to get it set up:<\/p>\n\n

    \nGo to http:\/\/router.euroga.org\/<\/a> and open a free account<\/ol>\n\n
      \nDownload Telegram Messenger<\/a> for all the devices you want to use<\/ol>\n\n
        \nAssociate Telegram with your mobile telephone number<\/ol>\n\n
          \nIn Telegram, search for “autorouter” (it’s a bot) and send it a message<\/ol>\n\n
            \nIt will reply that it doesn’t know who you are because you need to link the Autorouter account with the Autorouter bot<\/ol>\n\n
              \nTap on the safety pin, find yourself in the contacts list, and send it your mobile number\n<\/ol>\n\n

              It should all be configured now, so try sending “radar” to the autorouter bot and get back something like the first image in this post. If that works, try “sferics” to get lightning strikes or “EGLL” to get the Heathrow weather.<\/p>\n\n

              There are tons of commands available. If you enter one that the bot doesn’t understand, it replies with the list of supported commands. Since it doesn’t understand “help”, that’s what I use to remind me what’s available.<\/p>\n\n

                Supported commands:<\/ol>\n\n
                  EOBT – delay or bring forward next flight plan to hour and minute UTC.<\/ol>\n\n
                    CANCEL – cancel the next flight plan.<\/ol>\n\n
                      ARRIVAL – send arrival message at hour and minute UTC.<\/ol>\n\n
                        WX – METAR\/TAF for airport with given ICAO ID.<\/ol>\n\n
                          NEAR – get METAR\/TAF near ICAO airport<\/ol>\n\n
                            NOTAM – NOTAMs for airport\/FIR (add ordinal for details)<\/ol>\n\n
                              PLATES – AIP plates<\/ol>\n\n
                                SUBSCRIBE – subscription management<\/ol>\n\n
                                  GRAMET – vertical route profile<\/ol>\n\n
                                    SIGMET – European SIGMET<\/ol>\n\n
                                      SFERICS – lightning strikes<\/ol>\n\n
                                        RADAR – rain radar<\/ol>\n\n
                                          SATIR – infrared satellite<\/ol>\n\n
                                            TOPS – infrared with cloud tops estimation<\/ol>\n\n
                                              MSLP – mean sea level pressure analysis<\/ol>\n\n
                                                SIGWX – significant weather<\/ol>\n\n
                                                  TEMSI – European TEMSI forecast<\/ol>\n\n
                                                    TEMSIFRANCE – French TEMSI<\/ol>\n\n

                                                          RADARSLOVENIA – Slovenian rain radar<\/ol>\n\n

                                                                Send your location for METAR\/TAF in the vicinity<\/ol>\n\n
