And how it was made: This is a great series of cartoons on YouTube. If you’ve ever had a cat you’ll understand.. A tilt-shift lens produces a very shallow depth of field which makes the images look like a toy set. This video combines tilt-shift and stop-motion to produce a lovely effect. From Gizmodo: Showing 10,000 galaxies, the overwhelming Hubble Ultra Deep Field is the most amazing, most humbling image in history, demonstrating how tiny and precious we are.
